This is a list of characters you will meet as you travel through the world of Auratus:

Goldie

This is the prophet of the pond and the only fish who completely remembers the First Pond and the Time Before the First Pond. It is believed that he lost sight in his right eye during the end of the First Pond. He has quite the flair for the dramatic and is very unnerved by small blue feathers and other bad omens. He works closely with The Raven who many believe can see what his bad eye cannot (and vice versa). He is a Gold and Silver Common Goldfish with missing scales.

The Raven

She is the only avian ally of the goldfish, rescued by the gods after the end of The First Pond. She is fond of helping the goldfish after getting attached to their species during her time Indoors and often creates items that can help them. She also is quick to alert the pond of the presence of enemies or new fish that are looking for schools.

Poole

She is a connoisseur of fine foods and is often finding delicious treats that the other fish can enjoy. She runs the premium food shop where foods that can speed up breeding cooldowns, foods that can change color, and other premium foods can be found. She is a Gold Common the first and most beloved wife of New Fish.

Izzy

She is the younger, easily excited wife of New Fish. She is more of a second mom to his children but has none of her own. She runs the "Fast Food" shop, where more common treats can be found. She is a red and white Common.

LB

New Fish and Poole's genius daughter. She runs the item shop, selling off spare items that she does not need anymore. She is also the Raven's assistant, but does not work on crafting as much as the Raven does. She is a White and red calico Tamasaba.

New Fish and Banner
This is a father and son duo who run a monthly shop that sells items, foods, and breeds of goldfish for one month only. New Fish is a White and Red Calico Ryukin and Banner is a Green Tamasaba. New Fish narrowly avoided dying at the end of the First Pond. He and Poole had LB and Banner during their time indoors. Because of their age, New Fish and Poole adopted Izzy, a fish who was brought to Indoors before the New Pond into the family as New Fish's second wife.

Bowman
A purveyor of specialty items. This fish has come up with ways to change breeds, colors, and even sexes of their fellow fish. Some items are premium, others are easily purchasable with gravel. They are an Orange and Black Common.
