Yay! 50 Tumblr followers! I don't have a tumblr, but I'd follow if I did. I may or may not do some tumblr stalking without an account... 
I also love the idea of the bug nets! I do have one question about them though. You make the bug nets sound Alpha-exclusive, but what if in the future, after Alpha and Bets testing, a bug pops up and a non Alpha player reports it? Would they get a bug net too? To simplify, will the bug nets be Alpha-exclusive, or just a bonus for being Alpha?
Speaking of bug nets, hopefully they'll help all of us catch the creative bug for the contest!
